FOSTER W. JONES

BRISBIN — Foster William Jones, a lifelong resident of this commumty and a veteran of World War 1, died yesterday morning at 3 50 o'clock in the Veterans Hospital at Altoona
Born at Brisbin May 9, 1893, he was a son of John and Elizabeth Jones
He enlisted in the armed forces on May 18, 1917 and served in the Mechanic Supply Troop of the Second Cavalry during World War 1, receiving his honorable discharge July 5, 1919
Surviving him are two brothers and two sisters Josiah Jones of Dunlo, Pa , Howard and Mary of Brisbin, and Mrs. William G Dugan of Houtzdale
Funeral services will be held from the Nelle Sweeney Hayes Funeral Home at Houtzdale Thursday afternoon at 2 00 o'clock with Rev Robert L Snyder officiating Interment will follow in the Odd Fellows cemetery at Brisbin Military services will be under the direction of the American Legion of Osceola Mills
Friends may call at the funeral home from this evening until time of services on Thursday.
